Trama: Anita ha affrontato moltissimi orrori nella sua carriera come cacciatrice di vampiri e come risvegliante, ma venir rinchiusa nelle segrete con un branco di ratti mannari non è esattamente la sua idea di divertimento. Per fortuna, riesce a scappare quando i vampiri che la ospitano intercedono per lei, ma la sua fortuna sembra finire presto quando viene portata davanti a Nikolaos, la master di St.Louis. Non è chiaro cosa voglia Nikolaos, ma una cosa è sicura: anche un cacciatore di vampiri esperto come Anita non può affrontare un essere potente come lei! Riuscirà Anita a soppravvivere alla notte?
